Sri Lanka announces 16-member squad for ODI series against Afghanistan

The national cricket board today (May 30) announced a 16-member squad picked by its selection committee for the first two games of the ODI series against Afghanistan.

The squad, led by skipper Dasun Shanaka, will also consist of Test captain Dimuth Karunaratne, Chennai Super King’s star pacer Matheesha Pathirana and fast-bowler Dushmantha Chameera.
 
The three-match ODI series between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan will commence on June 02, 2023, at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium in Hambantota, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) said further.
