Berlin Global Dialogue commences with President’s opening remarks

The ‘Berlin Global Dialogue’, a high-level global initiative to find solutions to current geopolitical and economic challenges, is scheduled to commence today (28).

President Ranil Wickremesinghe left for Germany early yesterday morning to participate in the conference.

The President’s Media Division (PMD) said that this conference will be held today and tomorrow in Berlin, Germany, with the participation of Heads of State from many countries.
President Wickremesinghe is scheduled to deliver the opening remarks of the Leaders Dialogue session, the inaugural event of the Berlin Global Dialogue.

During his visit to Germany, the President is scheduled to meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, key ministers, members of the German Parliament and representatives from the Association of German Chambers of Commerce & Industry (DHIK).
