Revelation on party hoppers from Sajith's group

It is reported that a group attached to Samagi Jana Balawegaya has already begun talks to rejoin the United National Party (UNP) after the general election.

"Silumina" has revealed this in its headline.

It states that another group from Samagi Jana Balawegaya has already had several rounds of secret talks with the leaders of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna in the hope of joining the party.

It is reported that among them there are about ten parliamentarians from the previous parliament and  there is an issue of taking three of them in as they have been accused of various crimes.

It is also reported that four young UNP candidates who are contesting the forthcoming general elections have met the President last week to discuss with President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa as they are impressed with his policies of governance.

Silumina has reported that several popular candidates of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya have met the President outside Colombo last week.

Meanwhile, UNP leader Ranil Wickremasinghe has advised a group from Samagi Jana Belawegaya, who has had a discussion with him regarding joining UNP , to focus on individual victory rather than changing sides.

Wickremesinghe has said that after winning the election, a government should be formed.

It is reported that the UNP Working Committee has decided to replace members of local government if they support another party and as a result they are reluctant to support Samagi Jana Balawega.
