Court re-issues arrest warrant against Jaliya Wickramasuriya

Colombo Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne today re-issued an open warrant against former Sri Lankan Ambassador to the US, Jaliya Wickramasuriya.

The warrant was issued against the envoy over the case in which he had allegedly misappropriated USD 132,000 of State funds in the
process of purchasing a building for the Sri Lankan Embassy in Washington DC, USA. (Yoshitha Perera)
