Maga Neguma & affiliated institutions to be dissolved

Minister Bandula Gunawardana said the government has taken a decision to dissolve ‘Maga Neguma’ and its affiliated institutions.

Addressing the Cabinet media briefing today (3), he said the decision was taken due to the lack of funds to maintain these institutions.
 

“All the institutions under Maga Neguma will be dissolved since there is no income to maintain them. Therefore, Maga Neguma and four related institutions will be dissolved under the state enterprise reforms programme,” he said.
