Election watchdog group - Centre for Monitoring Election Violence (CMEV) reveals that the Samagi Jana Balavegaya (SJB) has outspent other parties, as the last week of campaigning for the General election, dawns.
The figures were included in a table featuring total estimated costs update dated from July 02- 15.
According to the CMEV, the collective estimated cost of all parties stands at Rs 514 million with the SJB at the top with Rs. 185 million.
The breakaway faction of the (UNP) has invested heavily in electronic media, spending Rs. 168 million for advertising on TV and radio.
