Reports regarding financial misappropriations during the transaction between Sri Lankan Airlines and the Airbus Industries Company by several individuals were published in a weekend newspaper yesterday (02) and several websites too carried these reports over the weekend.
Having seen the media reports, President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa had ordered the officials to conduct an immediate investigation covering every aspect of this transaction and hand him the results of the investigation.
