Number of ballot papers per ballot box drops from 700 to 400

As the ballot paper for this time’s presidential election is extremely long in comparison to previous elections, the number of ballot papers each ballot box can hold has reduced to 400.

In previous elections, the number of ballot papers each ballot box could hold was around 700.

At this presidential election the ballot paper is 26 inches long and as the thickness of the ballot paper is also more due to its length, each ballot box can only hold around 400 ballot papers, an Election Commission official told .
