Therefore, it is learnt that the presidential advisors have notified the President to take advantage of this situation and call for a snap presidential election.
Conspiracy against the UNP- warns Ajith P. Perera!!
Meanwhile, UNP non-cabinet Minister Ajith P. Perera claims that this is a huge conspiracy being hatched against the UNP.
He noted that this conspiracy is being hatched in order to destabilise the economy which has been stabilised under the current UNP government.
The Prime Minister is the current leader of the party and there is no change, he said, adding that the only thing that could happen is to call for a presidential election.
He made this statement during a media briefing held in Colombo.
