Rookantha and 10 others to be appointed as UNP organizers

Handing over of appointment letters to ten new electoral organizers of the United National Party will take place this afternoon (11th) and popular singer Rookantha Gunatilake and nine others have been nominated.

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe is scheduled to hand over these appointment letters at Temple Trees.
Parliamentarian Dr. Kavinda Jayawardena has been appointed as the chief UNP organizer of the Negombo electorate.

UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe will appoint the new electoral organizers under the approval of the UNP Working Committee.
