Dudley says he is grateful to Mahinda forever

Dudley Sirisena, the businessman brother of president Maithripala Sirisena, says he is grateful to opposition leader Mahinda Rajapaksa forever for the development of his businesses.

He has told ‘Sunday Lankadeepa’ that he was the first to receive entrepreneurial loans introduced by Rajapaksa after he came to power.

Dudley Sirisena said he would remember that until his last moment.
He said he started businesses while serving in the Air Force, with a Rs. 75,000 given him by two friends of his youngest brother.

He said he received his business advice from his younger brother Kumarasiri Sirisena and leading businessman Dhammika Perera.

Dudley Sirisena added that he would enter politics only at the invitation of his brother, the president.
