Deputy minister complains against Namal Kumara

State minister H.M.M. Haris lodged a complaint with the CID yesterday(01), seeking a proper investigation into one Thushara Peiris of the diaspora of France, who is reported to have planned trouble in Sri Lanka together with Namal Kumara, who alleges a
conspiracy to kill the president and the former defence secretary.

On September 28, Kumara produced the audio of telephone conversations with Peiris in which they discussed an attack in Batticaloa and another on a meeting attended by a Muslim politician.

Previously, president of Sinhale Jathika Sanvidanaya Dan Priyasad complained against Kumara to the CID.
