Thera warns against lifting the ban on agro-chemicals

Ven. Athuraliye Rathana Thera saye he will not hesitate to take the lead and topple the present regime if it does not withdraw a decision to lift the ban on the importation of fertilizers and agro-
chemicals that harm the environment.

He made the remark during a function in Badulla yesterday (11).

He accused the government of planning to import harmful chemical fertilizers again.
