Dayasiri Jayasekara made this comment at the press conference
held at Government Information Centre yesterday (04).
The banned officials included the former President of the Sri Lanka Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, Kapila Kumara who will face a lifetime ban from all sports due to forgery, misusing funds and misconduct.
Other officials Prasanna Peiris, Wasantha Fernando and Ranil Sampath each face two year bans for working against the present President and misusing funds during their tenure.
Meanwhile, ten former office bearers of the Sri Lanka Judo Association were banned for ten years due to not submitting proper accounts and for directly violating the sports law.
