The newspaper has quoted a spokesman for the steering committee of the Constitutional Assembly as saying that the formulation of the
constitution could likely be a failure due to the 2019 election.
He said his personal opinion was that the constitution should be formulated by mid-2018.
The steering committee has decided at a meeting on November 19 to conclude the debate on its report by December 02, followed by a debate on the six subcommittee reports in January.
The steering committee will then meet to take a final decision, said the newspaper.
