He said this in response to a query made by Sri Lanka Mirror
regarding the no confidence motion against Rajapaksa.
He said it was a joke that his own party wants to being in a no confidence motion against him, adding that the President and Prime Minister have the right to remove anyone from their posts.
However Sri Lanka Mirror reliably learns that a petition with the signatures of around 60 ministers is currently being signed to be handed over to the Prime Minister.
