Bar disapproves of political authority’s disruptions

Bar Association president U.R. de Silva says he disapproves of the political authority’s disruptions and criticisms against officials of the Attorney General’s Department.

He is commenting on the allegations against the AG’s Dept. over the Ravi Karunanayake issue.

Senior additional solicitor general Dappula de Livera has been
strongly criticized for his cross-examination of Karunanayake at the bond commission hearing.

Also, the AG is under fire by UNP politicians for allegedly delaying investigations against the Rajapaksas.
