Participating in Neth FM’s ‘Unlimited’ programme last night (23), Senaratne said that long before Ravi Karunanayake was removed, he had maintained that both Rajapakshe and Sagala Ratnayake
should be removed from their portfolios.
He said that in his struggle against corruption, anyone who struck deals with thieves would be strictly dealt with.
Chatura Senaratne is the son of health minister Rajitha Senaratne was in the forefront of the campaign for Rajapakshe’s removal.
The MP said he had gathered much information about ministers like Ratnayake who disrupt the government’s programme, and the leaders briefed about them.
If those leaders do not take action, the president will mediate, according to him.
