questioned the basis for the government’s economic management committee decision to increase the length of the flyovers by 2.78 km.
According to him, that had been done without any engineering reports, by a few officials.
The public or parliament should have been consulted when allocating such a large amount of money additionally, he noted.
He said the officials involved would be summoned before COPE.
