Special notice for principals of schools where A/L exam is held

Commissioner-General of Examinations has urged all principals to ensure that activities or events causing disturbances to candidates are not taking place at the school premises where the 2023 Advanced Level examination is being held.

G.C.E. A/L examination, which commenced on January 04, is scheduled to go on until January 31.

The exams chief, Mr. Amith Jayasundara says he had previously informed all school principals not to organize any activity or event that would disturb the exam candidates.

However, there have been multiple complaints about certain activities at school premises causing loud noises that distract the candidates, he noted.

As such, the principals have once again been reminded to refrain from organizing activities or events at school premises that might disturb the candidates during the time window the highly competitive national examination takes place.
