Pathum Nissanka to miss home series against Zimbabwe?

Sri Lanka’s opening batsman, Pathum Nissanka will miss the entire white-ball home series against Zimbabwe after being contracting dengue infection, sources told Ada Derana.

Accordingly, talented young cricketing star Shevon Daniel is tipped to replace Nissanka.

The white-ball home series against Zimbabwe is scheduled to kick off on January 06. 

     

The three ODIs of the contest will be played on January 06, 08, and 11, while the T20I matches of the tour are planned to be played on January 14, 16, and 18.

All the matches are scheduled to be played at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium (RPICS) in Colombo. The ODIs would be day-night games, while T20 games are night games.
