Australia proposes to make Sri Lanka an International Education Hub

The Australian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Paul Stephens said the Australian government has put forward a new proposal to establish Sri Lanka as a key international education center. 
The Australian High Commissioner further said that through the launching of Sri Lanka as an international educational center, the country will be able to attract a large number of foreign students from many neighbouring countries including India, Maldives, Indonesia, Nepal and Bangladesh. 
 
A special conference on Sri Lanka and Australia bilateral relations with the Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce was held on August 24 morning at the Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce Auditorium. 
 
The Australian High Commissioner to Sri Lanka Paul Stephens expressed these views during his speech while participating in the conference.
