Dates fixed for parliamentary debates on X-Press Pearl disaster, CBSL Bill

The Parliamentary Business Committee has fixed dates for the adjournment debate on MV X-Press Pearl and the second reading of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) Bill.

Accordingly, the adjournment debate on the MV X-Press Pearl disaster will be held on May 10 from 5.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m., the Communications Department of Parliament said in a press release.
 
Meanwhile, the debate on the second reading of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka Bill has been scheduled for May 11 from 9.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.

At its meeting last week, the Parliamentary Business Committee decided to convene the parliament from May 09 to 12.
