One arrested over posting recordings on the internet

It is also reported that one person had been questioned yesterday (12) over the controversial voice recordings being made public by posting it on the internet.

The police said that they are trying to determine if these tapes had been posted as an act of revenge or as a business, adding that these recordings are now in the hands of many people.

Meanwhile, despite allegations that these recordings had leaked to the media through the police, the Media Director Jaliya Senaratne denied any involvement of the police in publicizing these recordings.
