According to reliable sources, there have been several secret meetings between members of both camps already. The crossovers are most likely between parties who are disgruntled over certain issues.
It is reported that several SLPP and UNP MPs and several provincial level members are most likely to cross over. The crossovers are expected with the handing over of nominations.
It is also reported that the media units of the main political groups are also planning on launching a media campaign to name some of the MPs most likely to cross over with the aim of causing disputes within the rival parties.
