Hemasiri and Pujitha are about to be arrested for not preventing the attack on Easter Sunday and for threatening and assaulting a person.
Accordingly, Hemasiri Fernando and Poojitha Jayasundara are to be summoned by the CID shortly.
The report further states that they are being summoned by the CID for statements.
A case is being heard at the Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court against the former IGP.
The case has been filed by AH. Samarakoon Banda who worked in the elevator of the CID.
The case was heard last week and IGP has been charged under Section 344, 346 and 483 of the Penal Code.
