He said that Mahinda Rajapaksa is claims to be a life time member of the SLFP and that he should explain it.

Jayasekara noted that it was a mistake not to have taken legal action when SLFP members joined the SLPP and against those who joined the UNP.
Most of the issues have arisen due to the failure in taking disciplinary action, he said.
The SLFP General Secretary said that during the last election, he remembers that it was requested not to vote for certain members, adding that if he was afraid, he would not live in a grave yard.
As Mahinda Rajapaksa claims to be a member of the SLFP, he cannot work for any other party and if he does, he could lose his MP post.
