According to the daily Central Bank exchange rates the buying price of a dollar was Rs. 176.9399 and the selling rate was Rs.
180.9009.
On November 28, the dollar broke all previous records and the selling rate rose to Rs. 182. Similarly the selling rate too rose to a record 178.
According to the latest Central Bank reports, the Sri Lankan rupee had depreciated by 15.1% from the beginning of 2018 to November 28.
