DIG Nalaka Silva has been summoned by the CID regarding the alleged plot for the assassination of President Maithripala Sirisena
and former Secretary of Defence Gotabhaya Rajapakse, he was interrogated for two days earlier. The time of interrogation lasted for nearly 20 hours.
In the meantime, the officers of this department said that arrangements had been made for questioning further from Nalaka Silva according to the questionnaire prepared by CID based on the two government analyst reports and telephone voice recordings.
