Gnanasara Thera’s case: CA verdict on August 8

The verdict on the case filed against Ven.Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera on defamation charges would be announced on August 8 by the Court of Appeal (CA).

The then Homagama Magistrate Ranga Dassanayake filed the case in the Appeal Court over the alleged violent behaviour of the monk
during the hearing of the case of missing journalist Prageeth Eknaligoda.
