Ministers rent ‘rented vehicles’ to SLT

Several top ministers have obtained vehicles on rent, which they in turn have rented to Sri Lanka Telecom at very high monthly rentals, details have emerged.

Of these vehicles, PE 8813, PC 8608 and PE 3301 have been rented
to SLT to the name of a vehicle renting agency Sakia for Rs. 140,760 per month.

Wayamba Traders has leased KV 6161 at Rs. 375,750 per month.

From Peenar, CAM has been obtained by SLT on a monthly rent of Rs. 350,000.

One of the ministers has rented CAA 1221 from Ben10 at Rs. 320,000 per month.
