vote, but many of those who applied for postal votes had not used it. This had prompted the Elections Commission to impose this fine.
Deshapriya said the majority of the security forces personnel had used their postal vote but those from other professions who had applied for postal vote had failed to use it.
Today is the final day for postal voting, while provisions had been made at every District Secretariat level to cast their postal votes.
