Party leader Douglas Devananda says their central committee
decided to support the TNA for a six month period.
He says the EPDP will stop the support if the TNA did not give priority to serve the people during that period.
At the polls, the EPDP won Kayts and Delft Pradeshiya Sabhas and their candidates were winners elsewhere in the province too.
Except for a few, no party can form a single-party administration in any of the LG bodies in the north.
