It was revealed that PRECIFAC had recommended action against
former President Mahinda Rajapaksa for aiding and abetting corruption with regard to the ITN case.
The Commission has also recommended action against Joint Opposition members Basil Rajapaksa, Wimal Weerawansa, Sarath Kumara Gunaratne, Mahindananda Aluthgamage, Priyankara Jayaratne, Jagath Pushpakumara and S.M. Ranjith.
Action has also been recommended against former Parliamentarian Duminda Silva, Upali Kodikara, Dhanasiri Amaratunga, Rohitha Bogollogama,Janaka Ranawaka, Nissanka Senadhipathi, Former Navy Chiefs Jayanath Kolmbage and Jayantha Perera over acts of Corruption.
