Postal unions to strike tomorrow

Postal trade unions say they will resort to union action tomorrow (27) island-wide over authorities’ failure to formulate a new recruitment method for their department.

Convener of their unions alliance Chintaka Bandara said they
would also launch an indefinite strike.

The government should take responsibility for the disruption to the postal services, he added.
