Minister of Tourism Development and Christian Religious Affairs - John Amaratunga says that he has complained to the UNP party leadership about the conduct of a group which includes former minister Ravi Karunanayake.
The minister says he is distressed to note that a group including
Ravi Karunanayake had conducted several events in Ja-Ela even without the knowledge of himself, despite being the party district leader.
He also condemns holding party events without the participation of party seniors and bringing them to shame before party supporters.
The minister has urged PM Ranil WIckremesinghe to question those involved and to provide a solution.
