Four lane road from Galagedara to kandy

The government has decided to construct the Central Expressway until Galagedara only and from there on to construct a four lane road until Kandy, Cabinet Spokesman Minister Rajitha Senaratne said. 

The minister made this comment yesterday (11) during the Cabinet briefing held at the Government Media Department.

He said the government had taken this decision taking into consideration the high cost of constructing
the expressway through a tunnel from Galagedara to Kandy.
