Mahinda, the first to wish Maithri on his b’day!

As president Maithripala Sirisena marked his 66th birthday last day (03), it was his predecessor Mahinda Rajapaksa who was the first to wish him over the phone, say President’s House sources.

This is the first time that Rajapaksa had wished him on a birthday
after he has become the president.

Eldest Rajapaksa son Namal too, wished the president on his birthday, tweeting, “Best wishes to president @MaithripalaS for a happy and healthy long life on this blessed day.”
