According to Gas companies, the price increase has been carried out in line with the increase in liquid petroleum (LP) gas process in
the global market.
The request to increase prices had been approved by the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) and the Finance Ministry.
Accordingly, the current 12.5kg cylinder price of Rs 1346.00 would increase to Rs 1456.00 for both Litro and Laugfs Gas.
