Rohitha (Chichi) Rajapaksa will be questioned over the China-aided SupremeSAT-I project, for which he reportedly functioned as the chief engineer.
The media has reported that 320 million US dollars had been spent on the project.
Rs. 500 million of state money had been channeled to the project without approval by the Defence Ministry or the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission, former UNP general secretary Tissa Attanayake has alleged.
