He said that minor changes would be made to the SLFP cabinet, but added that there is still no proper stance as to the future of the good
governance government.
As the SLFP there is a great need for a stable government and there is also a need to strengthen the SLFP.
He said that at the elections the SLFP votes had gone to the SLPP and that discussions are underway to ensure that the SLFP votes are retained and currently there are discussions underway in this respect.
The minister further noted that there are a few issues within the government at present.
He said this during the opening of the sub- ministry of kandyan heritage.
