In view of the uncertainty, the CPC is planning to buy from Lanka IOC.
That will cause a 330,000 US dollar loss for the CPC, as it will
have to buy it at 4.7 USD a litre, instead of the normal price of 1.7 USD.
However, the Lanka IOC order of 14,000 metric tons too, is due be delivered only on December 13.
