MPs in the JO have asked that the speaker be requested to grant the position to the JO, ‘Mawbima’ reports quoting JO a spokesman.
SLFPers in the JO had previously decided not to seek the position,
but that has been changed since the passage of the provincial councils (amendment) act in parliament, he said.
They will also discuss the interim report on a new constitution and the impact on the country and the nation by a new constitution.
