Gammanpila further said Karu Jayasoriya, A.H.M. Fawzie, Susil Premajayanth, Anura Yapa,
Champika Ranawaka and Chandima Weerakkody were all former Petroleum Ministers and by not naming the two, it is an injustice to all of them.
He said it was not sufficient to merely name them, but they need to be punished according to the law in order to prevent such occurrences taking place in the future.
Gammanpila said the government had spoken about mega deals during the election campaign, but to date the government has failed to reveal even details of minor deals.
The government debt to date has increased to 10,286, he said pointing out that it is an increase of 39% of the existing debt within 2 ½ years.
