That amount had been defrauded by way of commission from a
fixed deposit of the EPF and pension fund money at People’s Leasing Company.
The accused in the case are Kithseth Sanjeewa Bandaranayake, Wengappuli Arachchige Susantha, Udunuwarage Kingsley Chandana Gunawardena and Wellawatte Arachchige Dumindu Chaturanga Silva.
