Police sources confirm that the female suspect was arrested earlier today (30), and handed over to the Colombo Crimes Division.
It has been reported that the suspect is a 42 year old resident of
Galkissa. The Police also stated that the suspect is to be produced before the Galkissa Magistrate’s court today.
Accordingly the CCD and Police have detained two persons involved in the incident involving the Rohingya refugees in Mount Lavinia.
