The state minister extended the invitation at a party meeting in Haliela yesterday (13).

Persons like Gammanpila, who are in the joint opposition and sending invitations to him today, castigated him at a meeting at Temple trees, chaired by Mahinda Rajapaksa, after he left the SLFP, according to Perera.
He claimed that it was only him who had spoken before the ex-president on behalf of Rajapakshe after he left the party.
